Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service, industrial maintenance, or equipment repair experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with electrical and/or hydraulic knowledge.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery.
• Ability to work independently and manage service schedules.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily throughout the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial band saws, circular saws, and metalworking machinery at customer facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.

• Document repairs, parts usage, and service activities.

Location: Chicago Metro Region

Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 + Benefits

Schedule: Full-Time | Up to 50% Regional Travel (Primarily Midwest)

An established industrial equipment company is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial sawing and metalworking equipment.
