Job summary

Ecolab in Raleigh, NC seeks a Field Service Technician to join our Institutional team. This field-based role delivers service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution across warewashing, laundry, and dispensing equipment.

You will support customers across Institutional segments, ensure Ecolab Brand Standards, and collaborate with sales and service teams to deliver a superior customer experience and measurable outcomes. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment.
• A current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently.
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively take action to help ensure customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle, maximize effectiveness, and support first-time fix performance.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab's total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience.

Position Details:

• This is a field-based position and may require travel to the following locations and surrounding areas: Raleigh, Durham, Wake Forest, Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, NC

Work Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday OR Sunday - Wednesday, 10-hour shifts between 10am - 10pm, local time. Schedule is based on business needs at time of hire.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment
• Position requires a current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions
• NoImmigration Sponsorship available for this position
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or other advanced education or certifications
• Previous mechanical problem-solving experience, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or equipment repair, in industries related to foodservice, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, long-term care, and/or pool and spa
