Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a service-oriented technician to install, repair, and maintain warewashing and laundry equipment across the Raleigh area. You will handle preventive maintenance, inspections, and on-site repairs while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with brand standards.

This role involves travel to Raleigh and surrounding areas, coordinating with sales and service teams, and supporting 10-hour shifts on a Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience maintaining, troubleshooting and installing equipment.
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Associate's degree or other advanced education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and planned/unplanned work orders.
• Evaluate account conditions during visits and help customers meet Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory for a fully stocked vehicle and first-time fix.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.

Job description

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and planned and unplanned work orders
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively help customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle and support first-time fix performance
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed
• Communicate Ecolab's total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness and deliver a consistent customer experience
• Travel to Raleigh, Durham, Wake Forest, Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, NC, and surrounding areas
• Work Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday on 10-hour shifts between 10am-10pm local time

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance at night, on weekends, and over holidays
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to push and pull
• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to distinguish color, with tools potentially accommodated
• Ability to drive a company vehicle as required
• Associate's degree or other advanced education or certifications preferred
