Job summary

H2O Innovation in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and operate water treatment systems in the field. If you enjoy hands-on work, travel, and meaningful projects, this opportunity could be for you.

You will load membranes, perform CIP, install piping and equipment, wire landings, and support process improvements while keeping a clean, safe work area. Candidates must have at least 3 years of related experience and be able to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• Ability to read technical plans.
• Available to travel 75% of the time.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be autonomous.
• Be organized, rigorous and meticulous.
• Be an excellent team player.
• Have a positive and professional attitude towards your team and external clients.
• Exceptional work ethic with the ability to work without constant supervision.
• Must be able lift, push, pull at least 50-75 lbs.
• Travel to customer sites with periodic visits to the USA Service Office in Ramsey, MN and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Load and change RO/UF and other membranes.
• Perform CIP (Clean in place) on water systems.
• Mechanically install/replace pipes, equipment, instruments and valves for water filtration equipment.
• Glue PVC pipe and fittings.
• Measuring, cutting, drilling, tapping for supports or installation.
• Pull wires, label them, then land to devices.
• Ensure a good quality product.
• Support process improvements.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Carry out all other related tasks.
• LOTO (Lock-Out-Tag-Out) equipment.
• Fill out field reports.

The Day-to-Day
