Job summary

H2O Innovation is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and operate water treatment systems in the field. You will travel frequently, perform hands-on work, install components, and ensure equipment meets quality standards.

This role requires at least 3 years of related experience, ability to read technical plans, and a strong, autonomous work ethic. Travel about 75% of the time, with some visits to the Ramsey, MN USA office and other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads technical plans and drawings.
• Requires ability to travel about three quarters of the time.
• Must manage multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously.
• Prioritize organization and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load and change RO/UF and other membranes.
• Perform CIP on water systems in the field.
• Install/replace pipes, equipment, instruments and valves for water filtration.
• Glue PVC pipe and fittings; measure, cut, drill, and tap for supports.
• Pull wires and land to devices; ensure high quality output.
• Support process improvements and keep work area clean and safe.
• Complete field reports and adhere to LOTO procedures.

The Day‑to‑Day

• Load and change RO/UF and other membranes;
• Perform CIP (Clean in place) on water systems;
• Mechanically install/replace pipes, equipment, instruments and valves for water filtration equipment;
• Glue PVC pipe and fittings;
• Measuring, cutting, drilling, tapping for supports or installation;
• Pull wires, label them, then land to devices;
• Ensure a good quality product;
• Support process improvements;
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition;
• Carry out all other related tasks;
• LOTO (Lock-Out-Tag-Out) equipment;
• Fill out field reports.
