LIST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Field Technician / Mechanic, you will serve as the face of SANY America in the field, delivering expert diagnostics, repair, and maintenance services on a variety of heavy construction equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Providing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Communicating directly with customers to explain issues, recommend solutions, and build trusted relationships.
• Maintaining detailed service documentation, including work orders, parts used, and repair summaries.
• Serving as a resource for less experienced technicians when complex issues arise.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
• Traveling within your designated region to customer sites with a service truck or company vehicle.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you’ll need a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Our ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heavy diesel equipment (experience with multiple OEMs is a plus).
• Solid understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Basic computer literacy for diagnostic tools, service manuals, and reporting.
• A self-driven work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with customers and team members.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred).
• A personal set of professional tools appropriate for heavy equipment repair.
• Flexibility to travel and work varied hours, including occasional overtime or emergency service calls.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree is a bonus
