This occupation is a combination of working in the office, performing duties such as Control Panel wiring and testing, shop inspections (UL Approved Shop), and traveling onsite to start-up and inspect RDP installed systems. Generally, there will be 2-3 start-up trips per project. Each trip will be one week at a time, Monday- Friday. The training is fairly straightforward, as experienced technicians will mentor the new employee on jobsite training for commissioning projects. RDP will teach you the specific skills and techniques for the successful completion of each project, which is largely based on troubleshooting motors, valves, hydraulics, and actuators. Must have some experience with coordination of fieldwork as RDP is the equipment supplier and works closely with the installing contractor. Primarily, will be in the shop wiring panels and inspecting equipment.
RDP Technologies has a wealth of experience and can offer a team atmosphere, mentorship, and an expansion in acquiring more skill sets. With most employees being in the company for 20-plus years, there is nothing our company hasn’t faced in the past. RDP is looking for former athletes and military personnel who gravitate to these types of cultural environments and offer great pay and benefits. Looking for exceptional candidates who are highly motivated and coachable.
