Job summary

Industrial Air Center INC is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform start-up, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on industrial air compressors and related equipment. The role will involve traveling to customer sites in Evansville, IN and surrounding areas to complete scheduled tasks.

Responsibilities include inspecting and diagnosing rotary screw and reciprocating compressors, performing preventive maintenance, advising customers on equipment needs, and providing start-up support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with compressed air equipment.
• Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing.
• DOT certification or ability to pass a DOT screening.
• Ability to read parts and service manuals, blueprints, schematics, etc.
• Ability to use multimeter, hand and power tools while following safety guidelines.
• Ability to regularly stand, bend, crouch and lift up to 50lbs.

• Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs
• Technical assistance on equipment start-ups of equipment
• Complete appropriate paperwork for each job

The Field Service Technician will be primarily responsible for start-up, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of industrial air compressors and compressed air equipment. The technician will travel to customer sites within the Evansville and surrounding areas to perform assigned duties.
