Job summary

Company Wrench LTD is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to repair and service equipment and attachments at high quality. You will work independently, perform maintenance, safety inspections, and plan repair sequences while documenting notes, parts, and purchases.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, diagnostic abilities, and the ability to obtain or hold a CDL. Expect active fieldwork, potential overnight travel, and a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of industry experience required.
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and mindset.

• Safe work habits.
• Ability and experience to perform repairs for all major equipment systems.
• Proficient in hydraulic pressure and flow.
• Proficient in Ohm's law.
• Proficient in using a digital multimeter.
• Be able to provide tooling smaller than 1-inch drive.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections, create deficiency repair list.
• Research and order parts and materials for assigned maintenance.
• Perform repairs efficiently and thoroughly, ensuring completion.
• Record notes, time, parts, and outside purchases.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and service truck.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers; uphold Company Wrench standards.
• Power wash and clean equipment as needed.
• Ensure all repairs are completed and unused parts returned per policy.

The 3 C's (complaint, cause, and correction) are always used and documented with all repairsComply with all policies, procedures, and methods established by the companyMaintain and care for all shop and truck tools, equipment, and vehicles in your possessionCommunication:Provide the "Cutting Edge of Customer Service" to allAll communication with co-workers and customers are to be conducted in a professional and honest mannerConsistently advocate for Company Wrench and our equipment brand at all timesTraining:Training is to be completed as assignedTraining will be conducted virtually and in-person.
