Job summary

ANDRITZ INC is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide mechanical and electrical support at customer locations, troubleshooting and repairing complex products and commissioning equipment. You will coordinate vendor and customer schedules and assist with start-ups.

The role requires 5–10 years of related experience, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), and the ability to travel 80–90% (including weekends and overseas). Nearest major market is Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate complex test equipment to determine nature of problem.
• Assist in the start-up of completed products at customer location.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of time spent traveling and on-site work.
• Perform mechanical repairs of equipment in conjunction with electrical repairs.
• Perform a wide variety of highly technical duties to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
• Install machinery.
• Travel 80–90%, including weekends, holidays, and overseas travel.

Education and Experience
