Job summary

Quincy Compressor is expanding its field service team to better serve customers across the territory. As a Field Service Technician, you will service and repair equipment in the field, work closely with the Service Manager, and ensure a great customer experience.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 3 years' experience, and hands-on repair skills in mechanical/electrical/electronic systems. A company vehicle, tools, and comprehensive safety practices are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• 3 years of experience as a technician.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• Customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer’s needs.
• Supply all basic required tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
• Pressure wash and clean the customer’s entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
• Communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs.
• Completely fill out all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips.
• Train and assist other Service Technicians.
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal and protective equipment.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager.

Your role

To best serve our customers, we are increasing our presence within our field service area. This supports our mission in providing safe and high-quality service that is performed with great efficiency to our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you are an important part of this mission. You will be close to your customers and service our products to provide a great customer experience. You will report to the Service Manager.

• You will troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers

To succeed, you will need

• You have a valid driver's license.
• You have 3 years of experience as a technician.
• You have expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• You are customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
• You can supply all basic required tools.

Job location

You will be remote with a dedicated territory, and report to our Covington, GA location.
