TEKsystems in Boston, MA is hiring an Entry-Level IT Field Technician to support medical training equipment and travel to customer sites. Training is fully paid for 13 weeks, with all travel expenses covered and company-paid lodging/hotels and flights.

You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment, work with Windows 11, and provide excellent service at hospitals and universities, with Monday–Friday travel and home most weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years IT experience or recent IT-related education.
• Familiarity with Windows 11.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Addressing).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Mechanical or electronics aptitude is a plus.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a technical assessment.

Travel Requirements

This role requires Monday-Friday travel.

• Most travel is within a 5-hour driving radius
• Flights provided when necessary

During the first 13 weeks, you will participate in a fully paid training program that includes classroom instruction and field shadowing. Candidates must be comfortable being away from home Monday through Friday during this training period.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
