TEKsystems is seeking a travel-focused IT Field Technician to support hospitals, universities, and healthcare training facilities throughout the Greater Boston area. The role requires frequent travel, with weekends at home, and a structured paid training program.

First 13 weeks include paid training at $25/hour, with travel and lodging expenses covered. After training, technicians continue regional travel while supporting installations and service calls in customer environments.

These systems allow healthcare professionals to train in realistic patient-care environments that improve learning outcomes and patient safety.

They are seeking an IT Field Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of simulator systems throughout the Greater Boston market and surrounding areas.

Paid Training Program

The first 13 weeks consist of a structured paid training program designed to prepare technicians for success in the field.

• Starting pay of $25/hour during training
• Monday-Friday travel required throughout training
• Home on weekends
• All travel expenses fully covered
• Hotels, flights, rental vehicles, and approved expenses paid by the company
• $65 daily meal stipend while traveling
• Combination of classroom instruction and hands-on field shadowing
• No prior experience with medical simulation equipment required

Following successful completion of training, technicians transition into their assigned territory. While travel remains an important part of the role, most travel is regional throughout the Greater Boston area.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
