Pathfinders Executive Search is seeking a Field Service Technician | Wireless Communications in the Boston, MA area. The role involves installing and supporting wireless systems and representing the company professionally to customers.

A dependable, customer-focused mindset and basic electronics skills are essential. You will perform installations, troubleshoot radios and wireless equipment, and may travel regionally or overnight.

Qualifications

• Basic electronics background (12V and/or low-voltage systems)
• RF, telecommunications, or networking experience is a plus
• Two-way radio experience is highly valued
• Excellent communication skills, a strong sense of reliability, and a customer service mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team
• Successful completion of a drug screening, motor vehicle record check, and background check

Responsibilities

• Create basic programming codeplugs (fewer than 12 channels)
• Perform basic mobile installations, including radios, antennas, modems, and DC-DC converters
• Troubleshoot and repair two-way radios and related wireless equipment, including power supplies and antennas
• Deliver exceptional service while meeting customer expectations for quality, performance, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness
• Represent the company with a professional attitude and appearance at every customer interaction
• Some regional or overnight travel and on-call hours may be required
