Job summary

LS ELECTRIC America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Service Technician to manage technical service support on LV and MV electrical distribution equipment. The role ensures seamless integration of our systems and provides exceptional after-sales service to meet customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience in installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance, and be willing to travel domestically and internationally. Bilingual English/Korean is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of LV/MV electrical equipment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Bilingual preferred (English and Korean). Not mandatory.
• Strong client communication during service activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection, testing, calibration, adjustment, part replacement and warranty work with power tools and electrical test equipment.
• Ensure effective communication with clients during service activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of service, testing and maintenance activities.
• Travel for service and other related activities.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing technical service support on LV and MV electrical distribution Equipment. This role ensures seamless integration of our systems and provides exceptional after-sales service to meet customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection, testing, calibration, adjusting, part component replacement services and warranty work with various tools such as power tools, electrical test equipment.
• Ensure effective communication with clients during service activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of Service, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Travel for service and other activities

Skills Required for the position.

• Vocational education, military training, or transferable experience in electrical theory or similar discipline.
• Proven experience in installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance in some or all the following areas: low or Medium Voltage switchgear, Transformer, Relay Protection System (Not mandatory but preferred)
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Bilingual preferred. (Korean and English) Not a mandatory requirement.

Additional information

The work primarily involves internal repairs, with occasional visits to customer sites or distributors as needed.

Work week is 40 hours with rare instances of unpaid overtime.
