Job summary

Jobtailor in Austin, TX is seeking an entry-level lift truck technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain Crown and other lift trucks at customer sites.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, keep the service van stocked, and handle paperwork after each job, while developing mechanical and electrical skills in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than 2 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair and welding experience preferred.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
