Massman Automation is looking for an Experienced Field Service Technician to join our team here in Alexandria, MN. You won't be sitting behind a desk all day! You'll be out in the field helping customers keep their equipment running and performing at its best.

• Install, start up, troubleshoot, repair, and service packaging machinery
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues
• Work directly with customers to identify problems and find solutions
• Travel to customer locations for installations, service calls, and equipment support
• Train and coach customers on equipment operation and maintenance
• Use your technical expertise to identify the root cause—not just fix the symptom
• Partner with Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to resolve issues
• Document service activities, repairs, parts, and recommendations

• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motors, and controls

Experience And/or Other Requirements

Valid Drivers License with Clean driving record

3 – 4 years demonstrated work experience in the packaging manufacturing industry or related technical field, with minimum 1 year experience as a Mechanical Assembler II or III

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
