Job summary

Reworld is hiring a Field Service Technician I in the United States. You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing waste for transportation, loading/unloading tanks, inspecting equipment and performing confined space entry at customer sites.

Responsibilities include operating equipment per OSHA and company policies, handling hazardous/non-hazardous materials, and ensuring a safe, neat work environment while representing Reworld professionally.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program to achieve GED.
• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements, and all local, state and federal laws.
• Handling, packaging and transportation of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials
• Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup.
• Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
• Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools hand tools and/or other tools as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
• Acts as a professional representative of Reworld while acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site.
• Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Reworld.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
