Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power is seeking a Field Service Technician - HAC to support Sullair products at customer sites in Livermore or Modesto, CA. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot rotary compressor systems, and provide on-site training and best practices to customers and distributors.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of air compressor commissioning and maintenance experience.
• Experience with rotary screw oil-free compressors is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand schematics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English and able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service on Sullair rotary products without supervision.
• Travel to field sites for troubleshooting and service of Sullair and competitors.
• Prepare and submit service reports and travel timecards.
• On-call afterhours support as scheduled.
• Follow Environmental Health and Safety policies.
• Document service visits and communicate feedback to management.
• Drive field concerns to timely closure and support 95% service goal.
