Job summary

NOV Texas Oil Tools is seeking a Service Technician at our Odessa, Texas location. You will assemble, test and repair pressure control equipment and follow approved drawings and BOMs under supervision. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience, with proficiency in Excel and forklift operation considered a plus. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience and knowledge of mechanical assembly; basic blueprint reading skills and pressure control equipment (preferred).
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Forklift experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and repair assigned pressure control equipment (CTPCE) under supervisor guidance.
• Work from approved drawings and bill of materials; ensure accuracy.
• Produce parts efficiently to meet productivity and delivery goals.
• Notify supervisor of errors or changes needed in drawings or BOMs.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; report tool losses or breakages.
• Comply with NOV policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
