Job summary

Ohio CAT is seeking a Service Technician to join our team, performing shop and field-service mechanical repairs on industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems, with a focus on air compressors, generators, HVAC equipment, and related components.

A strong mechanical background and willingness to learn are required, along with valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be willing to train through company-provided courses.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft applications
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, and diagnose rental industrial air compressors, power generation, and HVAC equipment in our shop and in the field from a company service vehicle.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel engines and equipment.
• Safely perform normal machine repairs.
