Job summary

REIC Rentals LLC in Texas is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and repair a wide range of rental equipment, including gas and diesel machinery, HVAC, and light towers. You may work from our Odessa, TX shop or travel to oilfield, construction, and industrial sites to keep customers up and running.

You will perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, read schematics, maintain service records, participate in on-call rotations, and train operators.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field technician experience in oilfield, construction, or heavy industrial settings.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair gas, diesel, HVAC, hydraulic, and lighting systems.
• read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair equipment including gas/diesel machinery, HVAC systems, and light towers.
• Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot issues across oilfield, construction, and industrial environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs in shop and field settings.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain detailed service records using mobile/digital tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations and work in harsh weather conditions as needed.
• Train operators on proper equipment use and care; deliver professional customer support.
• Collaborate with peers and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Uphold the highest safety standards on-site and during travel.
