Job summary

MITER Brands in Tucson, AZ is hiring for a Field Service Technician with 5–6 years of service experience. The role covers diagnosing complex window/door issues, performing advanced repairs, and mentoring junior techs. • Mentor Field Service Technicians I & II through coaching and ride-alongs.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing and customer care teams.
• Provide feedback on product performance and recurring field issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and parts tracking.
• Keep service vehicle, tools and inventory field-ready.
• Uphold safety standards and best practices on every jobsite.
• Recommend product upgrades and preventative maintenance when appropriate.
• Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
• Stay current through ongoing training and advanced certifications.
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Ability to use digital service tools and mobile documentation systems.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Ability to prioritize tasks.


• Strong customer communication skills, including escalated situations.


• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.


• Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.


• Great communication skills and ability to follow instructions.


• Preferred familiarity with building codes, installation standards, and construction best practices.


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent (advanced technical training or certifications strongly preferred)


• 5-6 years of previous experience in servicing, repairing and troubleshooting preferred.
