Job summary

VESCO, a Busch Vacuum Solutions company, is seeking a Field Service Technician 2 based in East Windsor, Connecticut. The role involves reporting to the service center and extensive travel within the US, with some travel to Canada and Mexico.

You will install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain vacuum pumps, furnaces, and related systems at customer sites, and provide operator training. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in field service with rotational mechanical equipment, strong mechanical

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in field service with rotational mechanical equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude required; electrical knowledge preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer software; MS Office/Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and advanced repairs at customer sites.
• Inspect equipment health: base pressure, pumping speed, and other critical components.
• Conduct warranty evaluations and document all reports.
• Perform on-site equipment startup and operator training.
• Fulfill field service safety requirements and PPE usage.
• Relay customer issues to Service Manager and expedite critical issues as needed.
