Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Field Service Technician I to support a leading wireless organization in Columbia, MD. This on-site role focuses on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of two-way radio and wireless systems across commercial, public safety, and enterprise environments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in wireless RF environments, hands-on experience with radios/antennas, and the ability to read schematics. HS diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in wireless/RF environments.
• Hands-on with two-way radio systems and RF tech.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints.
• Education: HS Diploma or Technical Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and maintain two-way radio and wireless systems.
• Configure radios, antennas, repeaters, dispatch consoles.
• Assist with programming radios and RF systems.
• Perform cable installation and basic networking tasks.
• Use diagnostic tools for RF troubleshooting.
