Job summary

HydroWorx in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment. You will work with gear boxes, belt/chain driven systems, electric motors, and pump systems while traveling to customer sites.

The role requires strong electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge, with extensive field travel and on-site customer support. A valid driver’s license is required and work hours vary, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years electrical, mechanical and plumbing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and able to meet minimum age to rent a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services, repairs, and dismantles equipment using hand and power tools.
• Spends 100% of the time attending to customer repairs.
• Inspects equipment to determine repair needs and foresee issues.
• Diagnoses mechanical failures or faulty operation using measurements and tests.
• Installs or assists in the installation of new equipment.
• Reports all component issues via the Continuous Improvement Process.
