Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions seeks a skilled Field Technician to troubleshoot and repair fueling equipment and POS systems in diverse environments. You will install, program and test petroleum equipment, and diagnose electrical/mechanical issues to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires outdoor work across weather conditions, daily local travel, and strong customer communication skills, with on-the-job training provided for career growth within SPATCO's service network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License and good driving record.
• At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units.
• Hold valid dispenser certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repairs gasoline dispensing units (such as: Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, and Bennett).
• Troubleshoot and repair of electronic POS (Point-of-Sale) Systems (such as: VeriFone, Gilbarco and NCR).
• Install, program and tests new petroleum equipment.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
• Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
• Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in a non-technical manner.
