4Rivers Equipment is seeking a Crushing and Paving Field Service Technician in Farmington, NM. The role involves advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on road-building equipment at customer sites and shop locations.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing training through John Deere-related programs, with opportunities to grow within a John Deere Award Winning team across multiple states.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Vocation or technical degree, or equivalent work experience or training.
• Strong communication skills and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on Wirtgen Group Equipment.
• Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, assemble components or parts.
• Record equipment hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections.
• Mentor and train other technicians and apprentice technicians.
• Attend company-sponsored training focusing on Wirtgen service training path.
• Keep service trucks and all company assets repaired, safe, and maintained.
• Travel to customer locations; frequent driving.
• Observe safety procedures and follow company standards.
