Job summary

Arnold Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain mining and construction equipment at customer sites. A Class A CDL is required, and safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction guide every assignment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions, including uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy mining and construction equipment.
• Travel to customer job sites as needed.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment following service manuals and specifications.
• Inspect parts for reusability and order replacements when necessary.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to make precise adjustments.
• Perform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Document all service activities in English and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate job status and updates to customers.
• Assist with parts ordering and warranty processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
