General Description

Reporting to the GM of ANDRITZ Bonetti Co. Inc., this role provides technical support to area customers, working closely with local sales teams to identify, communicate, and pursue sales opportunities for products manufactured or sold by ANDRITZ Bonetti Co. Inc. and Ltd.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Conduct paper machine audits and service calls as scheduled, in cooperation with sales teams.
  • Address customer needs promptly and effectively.
  • Perform paper machine shutdown inspections, prepare onsite reports.
  • Conduct blade trials, analyze results, and prepare reports.
  • Troubleshoot blade and nozzle issues, help implement solutions.
  • Mitigate warranty exposure by early problem detection and prevention.
  • Assist in collecting delinquent accounts.
  • Manage blade and nozzle inventories, perform doctor blade changes during outages.
  • Build and maintain databases on doctoring equipment, blades, and nozzles.
  • Document field notes for new quotes and orders.
  • Perform service and maintenance on existing equipment.
  • Install new doctoring equipment and spares.
  • Identify and recommend new blade and nozzle applications.
  • Prepare brief visit reports, including contact info and purpose, and send to GM and sales team.
  • Communicate field activities, sales opportunities, and issues to GM.
  • Prepare monthly summaries and forecasts for the GM.
  • Highlight blade and nozzle opportunities to sales team.
  • Provide support to sales during vacations.
  • Manage expenses within guidelines.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform other related functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintenance experience in paper or related industries preferred.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to interpret technical prints.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and entrepreneurial drive.
  • Extensive travel (up to 90%) within the US, focusing on Southeast States.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environments with varying conditions.
  • Good visual, auditory, manual dexterity, and physical endurance; PPE compliance.
