Arnold Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain mining and construction equipment at various job sites. The role requires a Class A CDL, a strong safety mindset, and a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, traveling to sites, and documenting service activities. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and the ability to read manuals. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy mining and construction equipment.
• Travel to customer job sites as needed.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment per manuals and specs.
• Inspect parts for wear and order replacements as needed.
• Use diagnostic tools to perform precise adjustments.
• Perform welding, fabrication, plumbing and electrical repairs as required.
• Document all service activities in English and maintain records.
• Communicate job status and updates to customers.
• Assist with parts ordering and warranty processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
