Bobcat of North Texas is hiring a Field Service Support Specialist to provide technical, operational and administrative support to the Field Service Department. You will be the main liaison between customers, dispatch, field technicians and support teams to ensure timely service delivery.

Responsibilities include receiving service requests, scheduling work, prequalifying for warranty, forecasting repair needs, and assisting technicians with information and parts.

Responsabilidades

• Document customer concerns and communicate appropriately.
• Receive incoming service requests and assist in scheduling field services.

• Forecast repair needs and duration for daily scheduling.
• Provide basic troubleshooting assistance to customers and technicians.
• Assist technicians in locating service information, parts, and equipment history.
• Track preventive maintenance programs and coordinate service completion
• Coordinate parts availability across locations; arrange special-order parts.
• Identify back-ordered items affecting field repairs.

A Field Service Support Specialist provides technical, operational, and administrative support to the Field Service Department to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of service to customers. This position serves as a key link between customers, dispatch, field technicians, and support departments by coordinating service activities, supporting technicians in the field, and promoting exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for customers requesting field service.

Identify customer needs and gather accurate equipment, location, and service information.

Communicate professionally with customers via telephone, text messaging

Qualifications

Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges relating

base.

Strong customer service skills are essential.

The ability to work well with and contribute to team-based tasks and objectives.

Knowledge of construction equipment and possessing general mechanical aptitude and technical service experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills required.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word and OneDrive.

The ability to learn and become proficient in company ERP and/or service management software.

High School diploma, bachelor’s degree or relevant job experience is a strong advantage.
