Job summary

TMEIC in Brookshire, TX seeks a Field Service Support Engineer to provide warranty engineering and on-site technical and parts support for our Power Electronics Systems team.

You will evaluate warranty requests, lead problem-solving with clients, engineers, and suppliers, and report costs while maintaining safety qualifications and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Provide warranty engineering and parts support for the Company’s technical services.
• Lead problem-solving efforts with clients, engineers, and suppliers to resolve on-site issues.
• Maintain current safety qualifications and comply with company and client safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process warranty requests, replacements, and claims, expediting as necessary.
• Provide technical guidance and lead problem-solving efforts with clients, engineers, and suppliers to resolve on-site issues.
• Identify and report hardware, software, or system design deficiencies, implementing corrective actions from Field Change Notices.
• Track monthly warranty costs for assigned business unit and report to manager.
• Prepare and issue Service Advices for troubleshooting to clients and technical services field engineers.
• Maintain current safety qualifications and comply with company and client safety requirements.
• Resolve supplier product failures in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Respond to client issues outside of standard business hours when necessary.
• Investigate suggested field changes, report problems, and recommend solutions to immediate manager, BU management, and the parent company, as applicable.

General Role Description
