Job summary

Intelligrated, a leading provider of warehouse automation, is seeking a Senior Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to oversee customer service operations for conveyor maintenance at the Joliet, IL site. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate onsite activities, and ensure high-quality service delivery on customer sites.

You will report to the Regional Maintenance Manager and work full-time onsite, ensuring safety, efficiency, and strong customer relationships while supporting business

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ yrs Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience required.
• 5+ yrs Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience required.
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of customer service technicians, ensuring service delivery.
• Coordinate onsite conveyor maintenance activities with scheduling and responsiveness.
• Act as the main point of contact for the customer, addressing inquiries, concerns, and escalations related to conveyor maintenance services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements during onsite conveyor maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, monitoring their work to meet standards and budget.
• Completes work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to procedures.
• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems using blueprints, PLCs and diagnostics tools.
• Operates material handling equipment and related tools; uses TCPiP for troubleshooting.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment following safety and quality procedures

Job Description

As a Senior Industrial Maintenance Supervisor with Intelligrated, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the customer service operations for conveyor maintenance within the IGS business unit. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of customer service technicians, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and coordinating onsite conveyor maintenance activities. As well as working with the technicians when needed. You will report directly to the Regional Maintenance Manager, and you will work onsite full time at the customer location.

You will report to a client site in Joliet, IL.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a team of customer service technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Coordinate and schedule onsite conveyor maintenance activities, ensuring timely and efficient service to meet customer requirements and minimize downtime.
• Act as the main point of contact for the customer, addressing inquiries, concerns, and escalations related to conveyor maintenance services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements during onsite conveyor maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, monitoring their work to ensure it meets established standards and is within budget.
• Completes work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures
• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g. multi-meter, laptop), PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious
• Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment; utilizes TCPiP as a troubleshooting/setup tool
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according to safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School diploma or GED is required
• 5+ yrs Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience required
• 5+ yrs Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience required
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Shift work may be required.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading a team
• Experience working with conveyor maintenance or related industrial equipment
