Job summary

Clean Harbors in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew.

This role ensures proper operation of equipment, drives operational efficiencies at the work site and maintains timely documentation related to the job. Note this position requires new hires to attend our two-week Academy training out of state, with expenses covered and paid training.

Qualifications

• Environmental field service operations, construction, manufacturing, or similar industry experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Read work orders and confirm equipment availability and operability before jobs.
• Inspect equipment and work area prior to starting any job.
• Train Technicians I and II in equipment operation and service line processes.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce HPC safety policies.
• Provide guidance to crew to meet client requirements and company procedures.
• Safely operate vehicles and perform duties per training and regulations.
