Job summary

PALFINGER is seeking a Field Service Specialist to service and repair crew equipment at customer sites across the United States. This field-based role requires travel and independent work to troubleshoot and perform repairs on mobile bucket trucks.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of mechanical experience with bucket trucks, strong Windows/CRM skills, and excellent English communication. A competitive compensation package is provided along with benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 2–3 years mechanical experience or training with bucket trucks.
• Ability to travel up to 80% along the eastern seaboard.
• Strong computer skills with Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to perform field service repairs, updates and troubleshooting for mobile bucket trucks.
• Perform maintenance as directed by regional manager and on schedule.
• Schedule work and move to the next task without supervision.
• Communicate mechanical issues and needed repairs to regional managers.
• Maintain daily service documentation (estimates, work orders, parts, labor, and inventory).

This position will be field based and travel across the US.Your Responsibilities:Travel to Job sites and perform field service repairs, updates and troubleshooting for mobile bucket trucks while using high degree of independent judgment.Perform maintenance as assigned per regional manager and as schedule.Schedule work and move onto the next task without supervision.Communicate on mechanical issues and needed repairs their regional managers.Responsible for daily service documentation that consists of estimates, work order authorization, ordering and recording parts, labor, and inventory documentation.Your Qualifications:High School or GED expected minimum.2–3-years mechanical experience or training with emphasis in the area of bucket trucks preferred.Ability to travel up to 80% throughout the eastern seaboard Monday through Friday.Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM system.Proven ability to work independently, to take initiative and be resourceful.Must speak, read, and write English.What We Offer:Competitive compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour (depending on experience)401(k) with Company match.Medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and short- and long-term disability (depending upon state).
