Job summary

Meadow is hiring a Field Service Representative to establish Meadow’s on-the-ground presence in Seattle. You will be the first Meadow employee in this market, building crematory and vendor relationships and guiding families through the service lifecycle.

This high-ownership, field-based role requires regular travel across the greater Seattle area as volume grows, with responsibilities spanning planning, coordination, and accountability for partners.

Qualifications

• Experienced: you have worked in funeral service and handled families, remains, and partners before.
• Relationship-driven and composed: you build trust quickly with families and partners.
• Dependable and detail-oriented: on time, prepared, and proud of getting the details right when it matters most.
• Self-directed: you take ownership, stay resourceful when things change, and operate without close oversight.
• Field-ready: you have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and you can lift up to 100 lbs in the field.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with our crematory partners: you will be the face of Meadow in these environments and our eyes and ears for what we can be doing better, helping to make the day-to-day work easier.
• Own the return of cremated remains: From splitting ashes to handling USPS mail-outs to personally delivering cremated remains to families - you will be responsible for making sure cremains are returned in a timely and professional manner.
• Handle first calls: You will be responsible for completing first calls during business hours from the ME and hospitals.
• Plan and execute funeral services: You will be responsible for planning and coordinating funeral services and memorials with families, the venue and other parties to make sure everything goes smoothly.
• Hold our partners accountable: You will track what our transport and crematory vendors actually deliver, and raise it when they fall short.

About the Role

As a Field Service Representative you'll be Meadow's on-the-ground presence in Seattle.

You'll be the first Meadow employee in this market. Today we work through crematory and transport partners, and you'll be the person who makes those relationships work and who families actually meet.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role. You'll operate across the full service lifecycle and help define the job as you do it, because this market is new and the role isn't fixed yet.

Seattle is early for us and it grows from here. As volume builds, this role grows with it, into overseeing the crematory relationships, the vendors, and the people who come next.

Details

• Full-time: 40/h week

• Location: Seattle

• Compensation: $20-26/hr depending on experience

• Health: medical, dental, vision; FSA/HSA; One Medical, Kindbody, Talkspace, Teladoc.

• Time off: 15 days, 10 paid holidays

• Gear and stipend: MacBook + tools; $300 WFH stipend.
