Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across multiple industries. You will work on technologies including filtration, RO, IX, and UF, performing calibration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial settings, mechanical/electrical experience, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in industrial maintenance, oil field, refineries or chemical plants.
• Electrical, chemical, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, reporting).
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on site equipment.
• Create and maintain site paperwork; provide detailed technical summaries.
• Monitor inventory and ensure chemicals and replacements are stocked.
• Manage and log work orders in MaintainX; complete required testing.
• Support health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Job Description

Job Summary: As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

Key Characteristics

• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air
• compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Enter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX)
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• 2 years of experience in Industrial, oil field, refineries, chemical plants
• Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting)
• Able to lift 50lbs

Qualifications

Education & Experience Required: High School Diploma/GED/Home School Certification OR international equivalent. 2+ years experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment. Current TWIC Card or ability to obtain after hired date. Current Driver’s License.

Preferred

• Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, mechanical
• Forklift Experience/Training

Additional Information

• 5% travel (training/other site visits)
• Hot, dirty, loud, moving equipment
• Working with chemicals for water treatment

Working Hours - 4 on/4 off with a monthly rotation of day/night shift.

6am to 6pm day shift

6pm to 6am night shift
