Job summary

Veolia in Texas seeks a Field Service Representative to provide operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across industries. The role covers technologies including filtration, RO, IX, UF, and chemical injection, with a 4-on/4-off schedule and day/night shifts.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues on equipment, perform analytics, maintain site paperwork, manage parts and consumables, and enter work orders in MaintainX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in service/maintenance in an industrial environment.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain after hire.
• Current driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• 2 years of experience in industrial, oil field, refineries, chemical plants.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls on valves, compressors, pumps, instrumentation.
• Create and maintain site paperwork with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals and ensure adequate supply.
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
• Perform analytical testing (turidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC) and other site-specific checks.
• Enter and complete work orders in MaintainX.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenanceexpertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. Thismission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, wastewater,softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, andultrafiltration (UF).

Key Characteristics

• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air
• compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries
• of work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in
• addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Enter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX)
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• 2 years of experience in Industrial, oil field, refineries, chemical plants
• Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting)
• Able to lift 50lbs

Education & Experience Required:

• High School Diploma/GED/Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’
• experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Current TWIC Card or ability to obtain after hired date
• Current Driver’s License

Preferred:

• Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in
• Instrumentation, electrical, mechanical
• Forklift Experience/Training

• 5% travel (training/other site visits)
• Hot, dirty, loud, moving equipment
• Working with chemicals for water treatment

Working Hours - 4 on/4 off with a monthly rotation of day/night shift.

6am to 6pm day shift

6pm to 6am night shift
