Job summary

Magid Glove & Safety is seeking a dependable Field Service Representative to stock PPE vending machines at a steel manufacturing site in Birmingham, AL. This role offers about 20–25 hours per week with a flexible weekday schedule and paid training.

You will restock items, monitor inventory, perform light maintenance, and build strong relationships with customer contacts while working independently in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Personal smartphone.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environments that may be noisy or have varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to provide on-call support for emergency maintenance and repairs.
• Mandatory PPE is required at customer locations. Magid will provide the required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Restock PPE vending machines with safety products such as gloves, safety glasses, and other equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and keep products organized.
• Perform basic vending machine maintenance and replace simple parts when needed.
• Transport inventory between storage areas and vending machines.
• Build positive relationships with customer contacts while providing excellent service.

As a Field Service Representative (FSR), you'll help ensure employees have the safety equipment they need by keeping our customer vending machines stocked, organized, and running smoothly.

What You'll Do

Schedule

This position supports one customer location in a steel manufacturing facility and requires approximately 20-25 hours per week, typically spread across 4-5 days, Monday through Friday.

The schedule will be coordinated around customer needs and site availability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a consistent, active work environment and is comfortable working in an industrial setting.
