Position Overview

The Field Service Representative supports MPG’s Langenfeld division within the Twin Cities territory. This part‑time, non‑exempt role (15–29 hours per week) is responsible for auditing and maintaining planograms, executing merchandising initiatives, and supporting in‑store programs across assigned accounts.

This position requires strong organization, independence, and the ability to build productive relationships with store associates and management while representing MPG and our clients professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain a consistent rotation of store visits within the assigned territory, ensuring all service cycles are completed on schedule
  • Audit and maintain planograms, including downstocking, facing, straightening, and POP fulfillment
  • Set and reset displays, planograms, and promotional materials following schematics
  • Attend store sets and resets within assigned territory
  • Maintain POP and brochure inventory associated with assigned accounts
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with store associates, management, and client partners
  • Develop product knowledge and conduct in‑aisle and formal product training as needed
  • Complete site visit surveys and enter all work performed within 24 hours of each store visit
  • Assist with special projects and additional initiatives as assigned
Required Experience and Education
  • High school diploma required
  • Previous merchandising, retail, or field service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and self‑motivation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Sound decision‑making and problem‑solving skills
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to travel 25–50% within the assigned territory
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Access to a computer and smartphone to complete reporting requirements
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods
