Job summary

Veolia Group's Water Technology division seeks a Field Service Representative to provide on-site operations and maintenance on water treatment systems across customer sites. You will work with technologies including filtration, RO, ion exchange, de-oxygenation, and UF.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systems; maintaining site records; managing spare parts and chemicals; and completing work orders. Travel up to 5% to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in industrial, oil field, refineries or chemical plants.
• Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements.
• Enter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX).
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance

High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment

Current TWIC Card is required

Current Driver’s License

Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, mechanical
