Job summary

Artisan Design Group (ADG) is seeking a Field Supervisor to work with customers and installers to ensure projects are completed on time and to our quality standards. You will promote safety, manage on-site coordination, and serve as the primary contact for installation issues.

Reporting to the GM and Operations leadership, you will help identify best practices across functional areas, oversee subcontractor relationships, and support a collaborative installer-centric culture that underpins our

• Bachelor degree in business or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in operations, customer service and subcontractor management.
• Knowledge of flooring installation systems for single-family home construction.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, injury/accident-free culture.
• Provide updated status checks on the stages of home construction.
• Manage relationships with key customer contacts.
• Initiate corrective action to emergent issues.
• Ensure installation quality is acceptable.

Job Summary

The Field works with our customers and installers to ensure projects are completed on time and meet our expected level of quality. This is key position in our organization and vital to our overall performance as a contractor to the builder industry. As such, the Field must be an “installer-friendly” individual and help maintain our “installer-centric” culture which is critical to our business and success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with GM, Director of Operations, Management team and other managers/supervisors to identify best practices in all functional areas.

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree in Business or relevant field. Experience in a relative position will also be considered in lieu of college degree.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Functionality in Operations, Customer Service and Sub-Contractor Management.
• Knowledge of flooring installation systems pertaining to single family home construction.
• Highly collaborative and works well with others.
