We are seeking a qualified professional with strong power systems protection and controls experience to perform on-site testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade/Tech school with 5–7 years of proven on-the-job experience in Power systems protection and controls.
• Equivalent Military training plus proven on-the-job experience in Power System Protection and controls.
• University/College 2–4-year Engineering Technology plus related Power System Protection experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer and sales submitted technical documents, quotations, and service requests and apply that data directly to the quoted task at hand.
• Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to management and customers.
• Travel to job locations for testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and applying pertinent technical and safety standards (IEEE, NETA, NEMA, NEC).
• Create test reports and summaries of work completed.
• Assist in training service technicians in basic protective relay and control systems.

Your profile

• High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
• Trade/Tech. school with 5-7 years of proven OTJ experience in Power systems Protection and controls.
• Or: Equivalent Military training plus proven OTJ experience in Power System Protection and controls.
• Or: University/College 2–4-year Engineering Technology plus related Power System Protection experience
