Job summary

FieldCore, a GE Vernova service organization, seeks an experienced Service Manager II to plan, lead, and deliver field service projects from initiation to completion. You will own safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and cost while serving as the primary customer interface.

You will manage cost estimates, schedules, and resources, coordinating with Field Service Coordinators, EHS, and managers to maximize project success and performance against KPIs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of applicable project management experience.
• 3+ years managing and developing employees.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• English proficiency required.
• Experience in power generation or technical industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop field service outage cost estimates and plan scope (schedule, cost, man loading, setup).
• Manage projects from start to finish, track costs, and ensure delivery against KPI targets.
• Interface with customers and internal teams to align on requirements.
• Lead daily execution status calls and maintain project accountability.
• Review forecasts, vendor contracts, and invoicing to meet cost targets.
• Coordinate with field service coordinators and site teams to ensure safety and quality.
