Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc in Downers Grove, IL seeks a Field Service Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute waste management, environmental and field service projects while ensuring compliance with EPA, DOT, OSHA and client requirements.

You will lead scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans; manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and maintain documentation, with travel about 65% across the North Central region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-7+ years of project management experience with a strong focus in data centers, environmental services, industrial services, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (EPA, DOT, OSHA).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with RCRA/DOT regulations and compliance.
• Working knowledge of data center systems (cooling systems, water treatment, commissioning processes) is preferred.
• Experience with environmental services such as wastewater treatment, deep well injection, or industrial cleaning is a plus.
• Position requires approximately 65% travel across the North Central region.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment, transportation resources, and subcontractors.
• Oversee field operations including waste collection, transportation, tank services, wastewater management, and disposal activities.
• Monitor project progress, resolve operational challenges, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct field audits and site visits to ensure project execution and quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation and deliverables.
