Job summary

Mainspring Energy is seeking a Field Service Operations Supervisor in California to lead a team of technicians and subcontractors, ensuring fleet uptime and service quality across our local power solutions.

You will manage dispatch, maintenance scheduling, safety, and performance metrics while coordinating with supply chain, safety, and customer teams to deliver reliable operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in field service or industrial maintenance or similar customer-facing operations.
• Experience coordinating field service operations, technician dispatching, and maintenance scheduling.
• Experience identifying, tracking, and improving key operational performance indicators.
• Knowledge of power generation, electrical distribution, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems, dispatch software, or ERP/CMMS platforms preferred.
• Strong safety practices and commitment to a safe work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly Field Service deliverables to meet schedules.
• Coordinate dispatching and scheduling of Field Service technicians and subcontractors.
• Serve as primary O&M representative at customer sites and maintain relationships.
• Monitor operational and maintenance KPIs and resolve issues proactively.
• Lead and coach Field Service staff to foster accountability and teamwork.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for parts availability and timely delivery of materials.
• Support work order management, documentation, and service reporting.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive safety, reliability, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance resources and meet O&M goals.
• Support emergency response activities and outages when needed.
