Job summary

American Hydro in York, PA is seeking a Field Service Millwright to install equipment, repair items, and transfer machinery to project locations. You will work on varied sites, follow safety requirements, and ensure machines operate correctly by reviewing technical manuals.

Responsibilities include on-site mechanical labor, using your own tools, documenting work, inspecting equipment, and performing repairs and maintenance as required. 100% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1–2 years related experience.
• High School diploma with 5 years millwright or similar experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Field Service Millwrightto add to our team located at our York, PA facility.

Job Description

Position Summary& Objective

The Field Service Millwrightwill beresponsible forinstalling equipment, repairing items, and transferring machinery to needed locations.Field service Millwrightswork in various settings for different projects and will be responsible for followingthe safety and environmental requirements as it pertains to thejob. Millwrights will make sure that all machines operate properly, review and follow highly technical and complex machinery manuals.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills,and Abilities

• Able to assemble, move, set up, and dismantle tools and machinery
• Comfortable using large equipment such as cranes and trucks
• Familiar with a variety of tools and equipment
• Ability to readblueprints and diagrams to properly install and repair machines
• Safety minded with ability tofollowand contribute to thesafety precautions of machinery
• Hands on and proactiveproblem-solvingskills
• Ability to work independently and plan workin accordancewithestablished schedules
• Proficient intheuse of readingprecision measurement equipment

Required Education and Experience

• Associate degreewith one to two years related experience
• High School degree with 5 years millwright or similar experience

Licenses or Certifications Required

• Must have a validdriver’slicense

• Remote location indoor powerhouse is most typical, some outdoor work is required but minimal
