Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Field Service Millwright to install, align, and repair industrial machinery across our service region. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and document work using CMMS systems.

This role requires the ability to travel, lift heavy equipment, and work OT as needed. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in an industrial maintenance or field service role, hands-on welding, rigging, and measurement

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in industrial, mechanical maintenance, or field service.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with rigging, hoisting, welding, and mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
  • Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines).
  • Certifications in welding, rigging, forklift operation, or confined space entry (preferred).
  • Familiarity with vibration analysis or predictive maintenance tools (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field service work.
  • Willingness to work shifts outside normal schedule, including OT on weekends/holidays.
  • Willingness to travel region with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

  • Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment.
  • Inspect mechanical components for wear, damage, and alignment issues.
  • Use precision tools such as laser alignment systems, dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
  • Fabricate or modify equipment and parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment when necessary.
  • Work closely with engineers, electricians, and other trades to complete installations or upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using CMMS or job tracking systems.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with safety regulations.

Competitive Pay

This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25.00/hr. to $36.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do
