GROB-WERKE GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Field Service Mechanical Technician to install, start-up, and service GROB CNC machines at customer sites across the Carolinas. The role requires travel on short notice and a strong mechanical aptitude.
You will read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints, set up equipment, and use precision measuring tools. Prior NC programming and CNC/assembly experience are preferred. Residency within the Carolinas is expected.

This position is responsible for supporting installations and service calls exclusively at GROB’s customer sites. This individual will need to be available to travel on short notice to wherever GROB designates them to travel to. While at the customer sites, this individual will be responsible for the mechanical build and start-up of machine tool equipment. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, an in-depth knowledge of metric prints, and an understanding of assembly technology and/or metal cutting principles. This role will support the regions of South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. Applicants should reside within this territory.
